About the Role

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of students with disabilities.

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.

  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote effective communication and collaboration.

  • Assess student progress through observation and documentation, providing feedback to parents on their child's development.

  • Incorporate early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support in their learning journey.

  • Organize activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth through play-based learning.

  • Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are safe and accessible for children.

Requirements

  • 12 CORE ECE UNITS COMPLETED

  • Experience working with young children in a preschool or private school setting is preferred.

  • Strong skills in lesson planning and curriculum development tailored to early childhood education.

  • Familiarity with special education practices and child welfare principles is advantageous.

  • Background in tutoring or providing individualized support to students is a plus.

  • Knowledge of early intervention techniques to assist children with varying developmental needs is desirable.

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.

  • A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds in an educational setting.
